When I Started:
Sep, 2002
How I Started:
My father was my insperation. He use to work out in the backyard when i was small and i always imitated him. He got me my first bench when i was 13 and i've been messing around with weights ever since but did't start getting serious until i joined the military.
Why I Love It:
That's easy!! The fealing you get after a hard workout. Almost like you acomplished something great that day. Oh, and not to mention the attention you get when you walk through a door way and your chest is the first thing to cross the threshold and everyone has their eyes on you.
How I Stay Motivated:
I just look in the mirror and see what could be made better. I also pop in one of the many bodybuilding DVD's I got to get me amp for my next workout!!
BB Accomplishments:
The biggest one was benching 375 for one rep and squating 405. This was all prior to my lower back injury. I'm not worried though I'll be back there soon!

What type of injury was it? How long were you injured? How did you recover?
I have sustained numerous amounts of (left)ankle injuries due to playing basketball. No, no one broke my ankles, I always have the luck of comming down on peoples feet when i go up for rebounds. The only way to recover is to rest and not to strain the ankle for a while. I've been taking joint booster for recovery help but it'll never be the same. The worst injury was to my lower back not to long ago. I was squating and my back went out, even with my lifting belt on. I felt a slight pull and that was about when i couldn't stand up straight and had to call it a day and couldn't workout for a while. I seriously strained my lumbar and almost slipped a disc in my lower back.I have sustained numerous amounts of (left)ankle injuries due to playing basketball. What is the most common reason that somebody gets injured while lifting?
There are many reasons for injuries so i'll just list the most common i have experianced. One is not streching before the workout, two is the fact that people don't try to lift weights but try to lift their image for the people around them (know your limits). The main thing is when working with light weight, which is when most injuries accur due to carelessness. There are many reasons for injuries so i'll just list the most common i have experianced. What is the most dangerous weightlifting exercise? Why?
Squating and Deadlifts!! Both required very good form if not perfect form to stay in good conditions. Train hard but always be safe!!
Thank you for accepting my request.:-) I will be calling on ya for advice! lol..actually I have seen that some females use the Superpump 250. What do you think about it boo?
Wow seems like you got a lot going on. I don't think the move will be a big deal as long as you stay lifting and on top of what you eat. I might try to compete sometime, just not ready right now.
Well just got to get back into the swing of things... I am doing really good, been hitting the weights hard and results are coming fast... Got about a month left on my bulk hoping to hit 330 and then start my precontest in Jan. got 3 shows in May...
