I lost a bunch of weight when I was training for a marathon in January 2006, but I blew out my right knee after my twenty mile run and couldn't do much more of that!! SOOO, I started weight training. I didn't quite understand it at first (My lil' bro is a bodybuilder and tried to help) but when I started to get it, and see results, I became HOOKED!! I love it!!
I'm still pretty new to the whole game of it all (I started to lift in May '06, I believe...) and took a month and a half off recently after an accident. But now, I'm back, and more motivated than EVER!!
I could always use pointers and words of advice, like I said, I'm still pretty much new to all of this!!
My goal: to look competition ready come spring, and HOPEFULLY, perhaps compete in something, somewhere...
Why I Love It:
It's like popping a magic 'lil "happy" pill... I feel so great and full of energy after a workout!! Plus, it makes dem jeans look a helluva LOT better on this body! hehe :D
How I Stay Motivated:
Looking at my before pics, and the after pictures that will soon be me!! :D
BB Accomplishments:

Blech. (This is why you stay away from airplane food!!) I felt gross here, self-esteem at an all time low. I needed my lifestyle to change, and fast! And I found someone to help me out along the way... ;)
Exactly one month after first pic: I am feeling sooo much better!!! Watching my diet, lifting heavy, and being consistent and disciplined. Can't wait to see next month's pic now!
