Sick of looking emaciated, and I had to beat osteoporosis - which I did. Cut back on the cardio, and hit the weights. 18 months later the osteoporosis is gone and I'm healthier than ever.
Why I Love It:
It's my time.
It improves my health.
The buzz, the rush, of snatching a bar over your head - says enough
How I Stay Motivated:
I know what I want and need to do, so I just do it. I love and respect the fitness lifestyle too much to actually 'need' motivation. I self-motivate.
BB Accomplishments:
Regained my health
Cured osteoporosis
Overcame an eating disorder
Became a successful trainer.
Learned to Snatch and Clean and Jerk
In that order

Environupdated Motivation Level to 10/10 and said: "Motivation is NOT an issue"
Two goals.
1. Snatch 60 kgs before the end of June (currently snatching 55 kgs)
2. deadlift 200 kgs (currently pulling 167.5 kgs)
Goal (Long):
Recently I started doing one-handed dumbbell snatches. I think they help a lot. On Friday last, I snatched a 30 kg dumbbell for the first time. Felt awesome. I LOVE explosive training.
This week, I got two new personal bests. I managed to dumbbell bench press 37.g kg dumbbells 5x5 and shoulder press 27.5 kg dumbbells - both 5x5. I'm happy, me with the crappy shoulders. I started back on the snatch again this week too, after a long break (due to shoulder injury).
Hi, i am wondering if you could help me with my last question on my ISSA test? (sorry my english, i am from iceland) Can you please send me a message if you can help me out :)
