I got started end of 2006 just to get in better shape because I had been an athelete most of my life and didnt like what my body had become. I only worked out about 3 months and stopped due to lingering lower back problems. After well over a year of tests and xrays and other fun stuff, nobody could figure out why my back hurts so bad. So I headed back to the gym and we'll see if building some muscle can fix it.......
Why I Love It:
sense of accomplishment, feeling better just in everyday activites, helps my back
How I Stay Motivated:
I dont have alot of trouble staying motivated as I have always been pretty self-motivated. I enjoy a challenge. And the guys at the gym usually help me get those last couple reps up.
BB Accomplishments:
Anything I do that positively affects my health and well being is an accomplishment to me.
Ultimately, I want to gain lean muscle, lose fat, and improve my overall quality of life because of it. I have some lingering motocross injuries that I would like to work past by increasing muscle and letting my body heal itself. Also, to push myself mentally and physically to see what I am capable of.
Weight Goal:
I want to GAIN 10 lb
Bodyfat Goal:

Why? What are the pros and cons of working out there?
I used to train at home, but now only at the gym. I am more motivated at the gym as there are less distractions. When i get there, i know its time to do work.

What should look for in a gym? What should you avoid?
The biggest thing for me is overcrowding. I hate waiting for machines and turning a 1hr workout into 2 hours. Thats why i left the ymca and went to my current gym.

Since you've been working out, taking supplements and eating right, how often do you get sick (cold, flu, etc.)?
