Primary meats: tilapia, skinless chicken breast and thigh, salmon, lean hmburger and beefsteak less often. I also employ canned or foil packs of sardines, salmon, and tuna.
Primary Grains: Oats, brown rice, quinoa.
My favorite veggies: Zucchini, yellow squash, spinach, cauliflower, broccoli, asparagus, peas.
Treats: Hershey's dark chocolate kisses, mini Almond Joy bars.
I am a 6 meal eater by preference. Maybe its all the years in the heat of the desert, big meals suck when its 115 degrees.
I almost never eat out and when I do it is at a very few resturants. My favorite junk is a hot dog or pizza slice at the Costco food court.
