After seeing my obese Father go through open heart surgery, triple bypass and become diabetic - I decided it was time for a change. I was on the same path. Decided to make some changes - dropped 45 lbs - got down to 129 lbs in 2000 and used that as my starting point.
Why I Love It:
The growth that comes both physically and mentally. It just feels great when someone says you look bigger. The way my sweet wife grabs and squeezes my arms when we walk. Gotta love that!
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated because I want a long and healthy life...I want to grow old with my wife and kids!
I'm trying to get on in my town's Fire Department. I'd like to believe it's possible for a 40 year old. I'm damn sure going to keep tyring.

Description: Chris has one of the most impressive physiques I've seen. Motivates the crap out of me. Very statuesque - greek like. Symmetrical and Proportionate.
Man oh Man...just when you believe and see everything coming together - BAM. I sincerely didn't see this one coming (although I knew it was always a possiblity). My letter arrived on Tuesday morning...I didn't get the firefighter position. No explanations - just a very nice letter...
Hey, thanks for accepting my add. I started kinda like you did. My dad could die at any given time and he still smokes and doesn't treat his body like he should. He hasn't learned his lesson but I have. Good thing you broke the cycle in your family.
Thanks man I appreciate your comment, yes I am very tight with my diet lol, don't cheat at all, and sometimes I get mood swing haha (not that bad tho), but its all good. have a good week big
hey man--you are leading the way, regardless of age. thanks for showing that 40 is just a milestone, a starting point, not an end. your story of your dad and your motivation is as impressive as the wicked abs.
Keep living the dream, brother!
