When I Started:
1999
How I Started:
I was always the fat kid growing up. Constantly picked on and made fun of. I grew to about 200 lbs. in the 7th grade...yes, the 7th grade! I finally realized that this wasn't the way I wanted to look and live my life. I was always a huge fan of Arnold and several WWF superstars...I dreamed of attaining those physiques. By the time 8th grade rolled along, I was already curling my bookbag and textbooks, also doing pushups everyday. I also started eating as healthy as I possibly could...yes, even being that young I was more motivated than you could imagine....I've been hooked ever since!
Why I Love It:
I honestly just love living the healthy lifestyle. Being able to take my shirt off and be proud of what I have to show. There's no better feeling to me than hitting the weight room. My day isn't complete in my eyes unless I have visited the gym...I just love it! I always feel great and ready for anything...there are just so many positives to this lifestyle I live that I don't think I'll ever be able to stop!
How I Stay Motivated:
There are several ways I stay motivated..for one, just looking back on how overweight I once was and how depressed I was at that time period...I would never want to return to that. I see everyday as a day to improve so I am constantly challenging myself to get better...I often set short term goals for myself such as "I'm going to lift this much by this week", or "I'm going improve this area of my body by this time"...these constant challenges I set for myself keep my head in the game and never allow me to stray off from my ultimate goal.
BB Accomplishments:
Well, I have yet to compete in any bodybuilding events...it just actually crossed my mind to compete earlier this year. I would have to say that my major accomplishment overall to date would have to be me being able to transform that young, overweight teen I was into the confident, headstrong, motivated person I am today...if you have the determination, anybody can do what I did.

Becoming a Certified Personal Trainer in 2009 and finally tapping into my potential, eventually competing naturally by 2010!
Goal (Long):
I can say that my ultimate goal would be to remain fit and healthy throughout the rest of my life. I don't just believe in adding muscle to my frame...I want to be faster and stronger than the next guy. What good is all that muscle on your body or that high bench press total if you run out of gas after a one mile run? No good. I want to be able to hang with the best there is out there whether it be sprinting, long distance running, lifting, etc....basically all aspects that make up physical fitness.
I just got back home after several weeks away and was delighted to find such a generous picture rating and kind compliment on one of my pictures, and I wanted to thank you for going to the trouble.
