When I Started:
Jul, 2007
How I Started:
Sitting around on the 4th of July and it just came to me that I was ready to get back into shape. also that day my left knee started hurting for no reason so I knew it was time to get the weight down.
Why I Love It:
I love working out because of the feeling you get once you finished. Tired, but you feel as if you can go on. Plus I like the feeling of accomplishment that I have once I leave the gym.
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by checking my weight once a week. I know it sound crazy, but if my weight goes down I know I am on the right track and if my weight goes up I know I need to do more to reach my goals.
BB Accomplishments:
So far my major accomplishment is that I have lost 41 pounds since joining the gym back in July.

I just so happen to turn my camera on and this is what I saw. Believe it or not I am somewhat embarrased to show these pics.
Four months in and the pounds are dropping. I can see a big different in my cloths but still look the same when I'm undressed. I amm 267 in this picture. Started at 302 and I still have a long way to go.
I want to weigh in at 225 by my birthday which is May 26.
Goal (Long):
I want to get down to 200/225 cut-up. I want to look good and have good health. I am making this a new way for me to live. Tired of being the big guy. I was small and healthy when I was younger and I plan to be small and healthy as I get older. Also, I hope to one day motivate my wife to live a healthy and active lifestyle with me.
Hi ELS, it was very nice to hear from you. Thanks for the support and compliments. They mean a lot to me. How are you coming along? Hang in there, and continue pressing forward. :) T
I wish you much success in achieving your goals. Challenge yourself to be the best that you can be, nothing more but nothing less and you will reap the rewards of all of your hard work. Smile, and enjoy the journey. I look forward to watching you progress in ’08.
great progress in such a short time. Remember that its a marathon, not a sprint, so don,t get too disappointed if the losses slow down. Good luck mate.
