A serving of protein and starchy carbs would be ideal for pre-workout and the protein, fat and some veges would be ideal for night time. That way you wont be starvin before bed, and go to bed like an hour and half after that meal. :-)

By the sound of it that would be really good. I mean that way you're keepin your protein levels up and maintaining a positive nitrogen balance which keeps you anabolic (meaning muscle building). If it keeps it at the same level then you are def fine and that way youll create more less mass. Good thinking :-)

Haha yea this is what I'm studying. I love my major..it's such an amazing field and the research is just mind blowing...sometimes you have to throw away theories that have been around for awhile because the research just disproves it.

That is actually not a bad idea. I was goin to do a research study on me where I'm going to be dieting for a show to see how metabolism is affected by low cal diets since it seems that the body goes in starvation mood, slowing down the metabolism to slow down the oxidation of fat since it needs to have some stored. Maybe I could do the relationship of Hormone release and metabolism through dieting.

So when sugar is present in the blood, it disrupts growth hormone release. So in the absence of sugar and increase in MCT, the growth hormone is able to attach it the IGF-1 produced by the liver and then is buried into the muscle receptor cells.

Variation is definitely key to geting great gains. So with those different routines..youll def be able to get some good gains like you did before :-). Well it's very interesting..but I don't klnow exactly why this happens, but it does. My theory behind it is that one of the jobs growth hormone does is preserve muscle when the body isn't getting alot of nutrients. This is a reason why people who don't do natural shows keep most of their muscle mass.
