How I Started:
At the beginning of 2007 i was about 20kg overweight and weak as hell with no muscle tone. I decided i wasn't going to go to University in that state, so i got in shape. i cut down to about 61kg and i was VERY lean - i'm talking a skinny boys 12 pack. Anyway, i had it suggested to me that maybe i should try and get bigger since i had no fat to lose and my constant cardio was kinda pointless. i started lifting iron 1 year ago.
i did it wrong. i lifted for about 6 months doing cardio 5 times a week and eating shit all. i got a little stronger and a little more defined. but thats it. 6 months ago i found this website. since then i decided to bulk. i've gained roughly 10kg and my strength has shot up. 6 months of lifting has changed my life. i cant wait to see what il look like in ten years.

I don't really go out either, no time. I don't get to eat candy or to cheat with meals, because I have to be so strict with diet since I am fighting the natural female genetics to store fat :) So nice to hear from you. Best wishes with training and school.
You're Irish? Me too! I am in the same situation with school, the gym and sleep. Not having enough sleep certainly impacts progress on all counts. Halloween was the highlight for me in the middle of exams. I was a mermaid - Ariel. I have just one pic up in the album, most did not turn out well. Now it's back to being a schoolgirl which is keeping me buried, so maybe I should be a mummygirl instead :) pun intended :)
