How I Started: Seriously working out, I got started when I realized that I wanted to be successful in the fitness industry via teaching classes at a local gym. Also, being an African American woman, we are truely few and far between, being successful and fit in this field. Also meeting Cici Kyle, the fitness guru. She's such a gorgeous person and so successful that she motivates me to be that way.
Why I Love It: I love to workout because, it is that one place I can go to, to challege myself and get away from life. Im concentrated on me. As far as group fitness. GOSH! I love to see people happy, smiling and crying all at the same time. I just want to get people fit and healthy. Mind, body and spirit. I love it.
How I Stay Motivated: I stay motivated by harrassing Cici about the crazy foods I want to eat during my intense training times. Its fun! Asking her questions I already know the answer to. And also knowing that I'm not the only one climbing the uphill battle!!
BB Accomplishments: lost 40 pounds in less than a year--the healthy way

Goal (Short): I want to start competing in the WNSO Circuit.
Goal (Long): I am going to loose 5 pounds a month until May to be in top shape for Steel World! When I get there all glory will be to God, because if he didn't help me at all, I would cleary be eating an entire box of Oatmeal cream pies. I know that I can do this. I can't wait till I do this!
