You know, if you CHOOSE to allow them to be obstacles then they will be. We always have a choice. Personally, this is the hardest time for me, esp regarding weight gain. But I resolved that this year (and from now on) I will choose ME, my HEALTH, my VITALITY, and my TRUE HAPPINESS. I cannot find any of those things in unhealthy foods or alcohol. I also find that fasting is an amazing way to stave off temptation.
What fun it is though, you know? Finding out what works best for YOU? I love it. I want to help others do it for themselves.....I love the way I feel, look, and overall, I am proud to be HEALTHY. It is so great!
Thanks, I was very happy with my PR! Yay! As for not running with me..you totally SHOULD run with me especially if you want to sub 21:00 on 3 miles. I would help you get there! I know those long legs of yours are totally capable..it's probably the lungs giving you grief...it will come! :) ~Missy
The diet was too much of a hassle. I just kept my carbs and calorie intake low and protein and water intake high. It really helped build strength and endurance but got pretty boring after about 8 weeks.
