johnpt I am using the same hand held bio impedance machine. Its not perfect but its easy and always available. It tends to read 2% ish higher than a caliper test. I have just read the book . And the protocol looks really effective. ps It was from a breast cancer event the Topless waiters pulled out last minute !! Feb 13, 2011 5:02am

QueenBartos heyyy i'm moving to China soon so i might not be able to keep all of this up...but the book says to use the same calipers because they vary alot. It's funny, I've only been cheating on the diet for a week and already I gained all the weight back(maybe water???), but I know it WORKS if you stick with it. Feb 5, 2011 10:58am

guest Hi Tyler, You can check my Posterous at http://mpjoubert.posterous.com/ password: bodybuilding and see what I generally eat. I have a cheap scale that measure the bodyfat but... it's shure not as precise as calipers or other options are. I always weight myself at the same time everyday thought. BillyBob50 Have done it done two different ways: Calipers 3 locations pinched w/my age calculated in. another method hand held device using age, height and weight, machine calculated BF. One way measured 17% the other 18% Jan 18, 2011 1:27pm

holly86 My body fat calculation was just a guess by looking at pics. I know I am in the low average or high "fit" percentage. It is bizzare to think that I am 1/4 fat. lol What parts of 4HB are you doing? I am currently just doing the diet then will be doing some 1/2 marathon training when it isn't -30C outside. Dratio Hey, this was mostly a guess after entering stats into numerous BMI calculators. You can also go on the weightloss forum and there is a body fat thread, load up 4 pics and a few people will give you an educated guess. They have been accurate compared to other folks on the thread that have gotten professionally measured. I'm going to have a friend take the pics this week of me hopefully. Jan 17, 2011 10:19pm

DirkPitt67 For the body-fat measurement I used an online calculator that required age, height, weight, and waist/neck measurements. Not the most accurate but it was something I could do myself. As far as a workout, I'm doing some of the P90X workouts...mainly because I started them just before I got Tim's book. Jan 13, 2011 2:04pm

JFawkes I was for a few weeks, but didn't complete it. I've switched to Tim's routine from Building the Perfect Posterior, and I'll be doing Occam's Routine in a month or two. I'll do pre-hab all over again this summer; I suspect that even if I had completed it, muscle imbalances would probably crop back up after a bulking program and require me to do it all over again.
