How I Started:
Started playing around with weights while on active duty in the Navy 40 years ago, then on and off for years. Got back to gym in 2007 for general health reasons.
Why I Love It:
Love the muscle/strength growth and the conficence it gives me both in my state of health and my appearance.
How I Stay Motivated:
Seeing results! And being able to keep up with those much younger.
BB Accomplishments:
Setting regional, state & national bench press records, overhead pressing over 200 lbs, gym benching over 300 lbs, rack shrugging 550 lbs, barbell curling over 150 lbs and dumbbell curling 75 lbs at age 65.

Thanks for the compliment! I have always had big arms. When I was in the Army (a long time ago) I did a ton of pushups. I have never lost an arm wrestle match to a woman, but I haven't arm wrestled any men, except my husband. I really gave him a run for his money a few times in the past, but now he beats me comparatively easily. I think he's gotten a lot stronger, and I've probably gotten a little weaker. But that's going to change!
