Sweet slogan - 'The more I know the more I grow'. Hah, I'll have to borrow that one! Great progress, by the way. Looks like you've got things moving in the right direction.

Thanks for the congrats, Peter! To answer your question - yes, I do struggle to both gain weight (I've been eating 4000+ calories a day recently) and keep it on (the really hard part!). I don't follow a specific diet, but I keep a note of foods that agitate the condition and avoid them in the future (chocolate, excessive milk, leafy vegetables etc.) How long has your UC been in remission?

That's a great comment in your fit status - 'I am more than my problems'. Really hits home to those of us who battle medical problems daily. Thanks for sharing it. I hope you are making excellent progress.

Double post - you just had to have both the 100th AND 101st Bodyspace comment prize, didn't you! Prize is in the post. I am well, thank you. Health is stable and am progressing with new program. Went on holiday, yes. Had a lovely, relaxing time. Made a nice change!

How are you, my friend? Sorry I don't know, I've been away for a bit. I trust everything is okay. What's happening?

How are you, Katie? Sorry for not knowing, I've been away from computers for a bit! You'll have to fill me in on all the happenings...but not the film 'The Happening'. No-one wants to know about that!

Kevin! I've been away on holiday for a bit, so you're going to have to fill me in on all the stuff I've missed. How are you? What have you been up to?

Happy 27th, Rany! Sorry I'm slightly late to the party, I've been on holiday. What's all this I read about 'last month to prepare'? I'm out of the loop, so fill me in - what are you preparing for? Sounds exciting!

Welcome to Bodyspace, Raul. You've made a powerful decision, one that with sufficient time, hard work and belief will propel you towards the goals you've set yourself. Good luck on your journey - I hope you find all the information and motivation you need here.

"If you stand for nothing, you'll fall for anything' - great little quote. Who said it originally, or is it your own creation?

Thanks for the kind words, Kevin. I've been through some rough stuff in the last 5 months, but I keep going in some fashion. Just nice to get back to bodyweight basics - plenty of pullups tonight. What are you're latest goals?

No on the acupuncture (though have had some acupressure - i.e. no needles). Funny you should mention Reiki - I went on a course last late last year and got qualified to Reiki Level 1! It helped while on the course, though not so much when I do it on my own. Maybe I just need more practice. Thanks for the suggestions.

Thanks for the kind words, Katie. I really do appreciate it when people give me support when I'm down - as much as I'd like to play the 'lone ranger', we all need help sometimes. Feeling better today (pushups always make me feel better!). And you're gearing up for a competition (possibly?)...that's awesome! Do it!

Thanks for the encouragement, man. Unfortunately, my colitis has struck again so I'm having to take it REALLY easy in order not to prompt another full-blown flare up. So, no training for a bit. How are you doing?

No idea, unfortunately. I'm doing everything right - exercise, diet, water, medication, supplements etc. - and it still happens. Going to docs tommorrow to get it reviewed. Feeling slightly better today, though not well enough to train. Boo! How are you doing?

Josh, your frame is monstrous! Such power and build is awe-inspiring. Congratulations on the years of hard work you must have put in to achieve your build. You're certainly proof of what consistent training can achieve.

Make sure you're getting plenty of water - I've really noticed a difference in my abilities since paying closer attention to my water intake (which is in additon to other liquids, e.g. milk for protein shakes). Good luck with the leg destruction!
