A long time friend linked his profile ( http://bodyspace.bodybuilding.com/Vukcev ic/ ) Having not seen him in approximately 6 month (Iraq) it was both shocking and motivating at the same time. I've been lifting for about 12 years and seen some great peaks, but the past year was definately a low after reaching some major goals in 2005. Seeing my friend enjoying his results was the 'spark' to light my body building passion again - hopefully by June I'll be giving people a 'shock' of my own.
Why I Love It:
This is my hobby, this is what I am into, this is what I enjoy doing with my spare time.
How I Stay Motivated:
The mirror and memories (nightmares) of being fat.
BB Accomplishments:
Total transformation of my body.

Ugh, what a fatass! This is my first time ever being 240 lb +, NEVER AGAIN!
Find a balance in my lifestyle to maintain a fit, lean, muscular body. This of course, includes a stable diet and workout plan - but also activities that do not counteract my hard work too much.
I'd like to come into my 30's at 190-200 lbs looking like I'm still 20.
Ugh, almost midnight but my 7 pm cardio seems to be keeping me up still (7-8 pm). Well, atleast it's not supplements since those are taken in the day...
Guess it's gotta come 5-7pm after work, or during the day - which will be more of a challenge... or perhaps in a few weeks my body will...
I'm not focused on strength gains atm so I'm not rotating like I should to build muscle (even though I've seen some size increase already). Currently, my goal is to trim up and keep lean muscle. To change it up, I'll change from barbell (higher reps)...
The clothes... my entire wardrobe has changed. For the first time in years I can shop as a normal person does. I saved my (formerly) favorite jeans and a shirt from my largest size for the obligatory 'Jared shot'. Other than that, EVERYTHING has been given away. In just over a year I have went from 4XL to XL in shirts and from 58 to 44 in pants. Its a great feeling. I can't wait to get into the 36's I have in the closet.
I've been doing upright rows and some heavy duty shrugs to get my shoulders to show some shape. I've been picking up alot from your message board. Thanks
Really inspiring transformation Drek. Probably the ideal bf% for my goals, whatever it is. Wish I could get my midsection looking like that, but then I saw your waist size: 32". No chance. Awesome job.
Thanks for your comments and boost of confidence. I have "pretty well" figured out the weight lose part of things but have just in the last month started weight training. I am loving it but I always wonder just how good will I be able to look. I think your right that with hard work and dedication the sky is truely the limit!
