I got into a weight lifting class in my senior year of high school.
Why I Love It:
honestly, sometimes I don't. That's partly the reason I'm joining here, to find people to help me stay motivated.
How I Stay Motivated:
Friends, family, and my goals. I've gone through about 8 stints of being health driven, always I have fallen back into a rut. hopefully not this time.

Goal (Overall):
I want to start doing cardio every day, hitting the gym every day, and eating healthy. I would love to drop to 185 so I can start working on my fighting career.
Goal (Long):
I've been in the Martial Arts for about three years now. Not long into it I decided I loved it enough to devote my life to it. At first I just wanted to be a teacher, you know? Just have a small class and live my life like that. I soon met a woman named Sara Graham, not long after that I decided I loved her more than my martial arts, and that I would devote my life to her. I was never good in school (sara's a genius) So I started mulling around the idea of possibly fighting in some big events. I mean, I wanted to take my martial arts as far as I could, but it's hard getting started with just a school and no real idea of how to run it. So the thought kind of snowballed. I went from "yeah, that'd be kind of okay" to "That's it. That's for me" and I've been there ever since... Unfortunately I don't yet have the fitness knowledge (nor the schedule honestly) to get things the way I want them. But it's time for me to make some changes in the way I've been living. I can't lose focus anymore, not with as much as I've got riding on this. So, in short, my goals are to take what I am today, and turn it into a champion fighter. I will take my status and use it to propel my school. The money I earn from those combined will hopefully not only allow me to care for my love and our family (when we make one) but maybe, just maybe, I'll be able to create a community youth center to help the younger generation stay on track. I don't know how long it will take. But I will do these things.

Today was insane.... well, at least for my level.

Worked legs, abs, and shoulders. 4 leg workouts, 3 ab/lower back workouts, and 2 shoulder workouts. Afterwards, I ran about a mile home... my legs are not going to want to move tomorrow morning, but that's okay.
