When I Started:
Aug, 2009
How I Started:
I have worked out in the past but wouldn't consider it bodybuilding, but it's time to change that...
I'll make a long story short...
I was born and raised in Sweden and moved to the US when I was turning 12. I quickly realized that I didn't really fit in with the majority of the kids in my school. I started hanging out with the wrong crowd and got myself into a lot of trouble. By the time I was 15 I was abusing any substance I could get my hands on. I dropped out of high school and started working. I think I was around 18 when I was able to kick my drug addictions in exchange for alcohol.
I'm about to turn 30 and still party hard. I have realized that the life I have lived hasn't really turned out the way I wanted it to. The only positive thing in my life now is my parents and my career which I thank god for, because without that who knows where I would be.
It's time to make a serious change for the better and I think bodybuilding can be my new addiction.
Why I Love It:
It USED to be the best way to take out my aggression...
Now I don't really have any aggression, I feel great, and I owe it to bodybuilding...
That's probably why I love it, just feels good...
How I Stay Motivated:
I'm addicted, can't stop working out, eating right, reading anything and everything associated with bodybuilding...
BB Accomplishments:
Thanks to bodybuilding and bodyspace I have officially quit drugs, gone from a pack a day to half a pack, and I don't touch alcohol on weekdays, and only moderately on Fri/Sat... =D
I would seriously like to improve my life in general, quit smoking, take it easy on the drinking, eat healthier and just be more positive...
Goal (Long):
I have always been very small and never thought it would actually be this hard to gain weight. I weighed about 145 at the age of 20 and decided to get some actual muscle. I have been working out for about 9 years but haven't really taken it too seriously. Well, it's time to change that. I'm currently 170, I don't really have a goal as to what weight, but I want to get bigger and bigger. So we'll just see where I end up...
Actually, my goal would be to look like "XNIck EdgeX" =D
Weight Goal:
I want to GAIN 10 lb
Bodyfat Goal:
5%

Monday 2 weeks ago I weighed 170.6, then last Monday I weighed 170.6, then yesterday I weighed in at 170.2... Ok, so I lost some weight, how is that even possible when I have been taking in about 5K calories a day? I'm not expecting to put on huge amounts of muscle, but it seems as if I'm...
So I work out Monday through Friday after work. I always start with some simple stretching, then do abs, then run 1 mile to warm up. On Mondays I usually work legs and chest. Tuesdays arms, Wednesdays shoulders, Thursdays back and then Fridays chest again. I change the exercises and rotate...
I'm good. I'm supposed to be doing my homework right now but I'm playing chess and trying to watch a movie at the same time. I know, I know, pretty bad hunh!
yeah it was crazy. Quite a while back, hopefully i can duplicate and surpass that condition.. Keep an eye out and give me feedback when u can.. Keep bangin..
I tell you man, bodybuilding is a beautiful sport. Changes a person completely! You become more dedicated, motivated and have better ethics in everything you do! Not just in the gym! to be honest I had a major rage issue and I swear to you it almost disappeared now like magic! Btw carefull with the 5000+ cals a day. I did that then lifting n mass were increasing like crazy, but im at 17% bf now!
problem is im trying this 2500 calories a day thing, and fat lose is noticable with muscle maintaince but its too damn slow( pound a week lost)...
I tell you Genetics is a big factor in cutting phase so im gna have to do this "trial and error" thing. Hows training going with you? any problems?
Id stay away from the booze bro. empty calories, Testosterone suppresant ect ect. Gd luck
thing is my basal metabolic rate is 3000 calories a day (thats how much I burn everyday in total). Ive read in a couple of places that you are supposed to decrease that by 500 calories a day(2500) so that you wouldnt risk loosing muscle...I dnt mind living on water for a week bro, but my main concern is loosing all this hard earned muscle as you can imagine...Thats why im being a chicken about this lol
Sounds Like hardcore sh*t. I will try it out for a couple of days and tell you how it goes...Not really looking forward for the hunger im going to feel though...
holy sh*t! I will try this out for a couple of days, but I really recommend you dont do this kind of diet for more than 5 days. U need ur vitamins carbs n fats n other cr*p to stay alive! Pop a multi vitamine in there cuz its all for no use if you end up getting sick...
