Fit Status:
I missed my 6:30 AM alarm to lift so I did P90X back and biceps... New photo looks pretty nice. Gotta do more cardio though.

When I Started:
Feb, 2008
How I Started:
I started working out originally when I graduated in 2005 but stopped about a year and a half ago due to an injury. Now I'm just trying to get back into the swing of things.
Why I Love It:
It gives me something to do, and helps me to have a way to release stress from school in a positive manner.
How I Stay Motivated:
Maintaining the desire to achieve the something better than what I used to be
This is after 20 days of weight lifting. I still don't really feel like I'm back into the swing of everything, but I don't feel as sore after workouts anymore.
This was taken during a back stretch/exercise today. I'm starting to intensify my workouts a little more to try and cut down the percent body fat this summer.
When I was younger I used to be really chubby. I always remembered wanting to change my life around but never really knowing how or why I wanted to. Then I started lifting in the gym and got hooked. I don't feel as if I'll ever have my "perfect body" but I at least feel as if working out helps to complete who I am.
What supplements do you take immediately before your workout? Why?
Black Powder

Have you ever had a lifting injury?
Yes
What type of injury was it? How long were you injured? How did you recover?
I hurt my shoulders doing flat bench press. It happened maybe a year and a half ago. I'm still kind of recovering from the injury; I don't really feel as if I can lift anywhere near as much as I used to. But I'm sure after I train for a few months, I should be able to be closer than what I am now.I hurt my shoulders doing flat bench press. It happened maybe a year and a half ago. What is the most common reason that somebody gets injured while lifting?
Lifting without a spot, or lifting weights that they aren't ready to do. It causes you to have to stretch your body's capabilities beyond their limitations. It makes it easier to stress or overexert the muscle to the point of tearing.Lifting without a spot, or lifting weights that they aren't ready to do. I haven't made any posts on here since I formed my page, but I figured I'd make a new post. I was wondering on everyone's opinions on the P90X Routines. I've done a few of the workouts from the series, but I've yet to actually do the full 90 day routine. I'm thinking of starting up on it...
I work out on the base, but I'm underway at the moment for 6 months. How's the P90 workout? I've seen the advertisements but wasn't sure if it really worked.
good to hear it... Im working out at golds now... its not as crowded and even when it is... they have enough equipment to handle it... I have a few passes let me know if you're up for it. Im coming along with my physical therapy, been doing alot of work still limited on some stuff but been workin, so lets get up
Thank you so much...sorry for the late reply! I will definitely ask questions! Like, how do you stay so motivated and push away foods that are bad for you?
i use to take NO xplode but i read that they are cheating people w not putting everything in it that they put on the label.. not sure if it has been fixed.. the xplode to me tastes alot better than the shotgun
i love it.. i get a awesome pump and a new level of needed intensity.. i feel it more towards the end of my workout when i would usually be wore out but instead i want to dig for more
yeah I've seen alot of peolpe get some good results out of p90x... I do alot of crossfit stuff too... well did.... but it's alot of fun and always a challenge!
its all a tough battle bro, i feel ya..
yeah, my diet is strict as it can be, i dont even want bad foods anymore..
its 80% nutrition, 20% rest and iron batteling..
