How I Started:
I was obese and single in grade school. I couldn't get any girls, no matter how nice I was. Well, now I'm in shape, but I still can't get girls. But I feel like I'm getting a lot closer.
Why I Love It:
I don't love working out. It hurts and it makes my room smell bad. Whats worse is that I don't have a bed anymore because I needed the space for the weights. So now I sleep on the stinky floor of my rotting bedroom.
How I Stay Motivated:
I get like 1 complement a year (in the real world). I'd like to get more, but at least I know somewhere out there, someone was impressed...
BB Accomplishments:
Passing on my knowledge and seeing it helping others.

In high school, I tipped the scales at ~300 lbs. I had a special chair in some of my classes because I couldn't fit in the regular seats.
Been extreme cycling. High cals on lifting days, very low cals on off days. Not too much progress, but I get to eat Chinese 3 days a week without losing definition! Yea, bitches!

You make it real. I hope I can make it as well, and so I think about people like you when I feel weak and frail. We got to keep the dream alive so others may as well be inspired to do the same.
Thats exactly what I've been trying to do. Mon, Wed, Fri. I don't have a personal trainer, but i do have a bud that spots me and is good motivation. Problem is my job won't let me get to the gym at the same time every week so I end up missing a day and it's down hill from there. Hard to keep it consistent. If you keep him lifting I'm sure he will keep gaining.
Well, I have an easy time building my lower body, but upper body is really hard. So for fat loss I use my lower body as much as possible.
Building muscle, well... Longer healing time seems to work the best for me. Pushups/Pullups 3 days a week is working for entire upper body.

Hey Doobie!!...all well. Still at it...in maintenance mode...no real change in diet...just keepin' pumpin 6 days a week. Very little forced cardio....concentrating on arms, legs and abs now. Glad to hear you're comin' back into it. Enjoy your summer off from school. Hit the beach...grab the "chicks"!
