How I Started:
Finished school and I knew I had to get in better shape. My clothes didn't fit right, I didn't feel well. I wanted to be healthier, and of course, I've ALWAYS wanted an improved body. I've been chunky as a child, for once, I want to look and feel great. (And stay that way.)
Why I Love It:
I've discovered it feels great after a workout, I am more high-energy. Of the FEW results I've seen, I'm already loving it!
How I Stay Motivated:

BB Accomplishments:
No competitions won but the accomplishment I consider is actaully having a membership at a local gym, which makes me closer to new and improved body.

After some time of non-activity, I decided to return to exercising again.

During the time of no exercise I kept eating as clean as possible, except for the Christmas Holiday.

Currently I'm doing moderate weight training, doing this at home.  Some days of the week I've also started...

Shin splints - ouch. I've read that a long stride and landing hard your heels can make that worse. How is the cushioning of your shoes? You wrote that you want to get leaner. How is your diet? Clean? Good luck with your training consistency with your training partner.

LOL...you are right! I end up using furniture,mirrors and things around the house!!! LOL...When I take a pic in the mirror you cant have the flash on or too much glare...thats why some pics are dark ans grainy i guess!

Great progress, and thanks for the comment. Running in West Texas ought to count more than running where its cool. Just my opinion. I'm not running in South Texas till it cools off. Keep up the progress.
