How I Started:
Well at first I wanted to lose weight so I ran a lot on the treadmill. I went into the back of my first gym and there was the big wall with a mural of Ronnie Coleman when he stopped by on my birthday 2 years before that (April 7th, 2003). I remember seeing guys that looked a lot like me and figured I could be just like them with some hard work.
Why I Love It:
Its a form of stress relief for me. When things are going at 100 mph in life, the gym is the place where I can just be myself. I have to say that I love being on stage and presenting what I've worked hard for so the world can see it.
How I Stay Motivated:
It is one thing to idolize heroes. It is quite another to visualize yourself in their place. When I saw great people, I said to myself that I can be there with them. I motivate myself by knowing that I have a very clear vision of what I want to achieve in the world of bodybuilding and working everyday towards that vision.
BB Accomplishments:
For me, my accomplishments have been refinements in my posing as well as winning the bodybuilding show at my university twice.
