When I Started:
Jan, 2008
How I Started:
I really started working out in high school but it was always off and on. After a few years of being in the military deploying and partying, then deploying again and partying again, I decided I wanted to buckle down and put some serious weight on. My goal of putting on some serious weight is just a little slower than I intended... don't you judge me lol.
Why I Love It:
I love the fact that I am an artist. I am sculpting my body the way that I want it to be. It's a great feeling knowing that I have that kind of control when it seems that I don't have that kind of authority in many other parts of my life.
How I Stay Motivated:
Body building is my heroin (not that I've ever done heroin before lol) but I love the way it feels. I really like knowing that I am a symbol of strength for my friends and family.
BB Accomplishments:
I don't have any accomplishments of merit yet. I plan on competing in my first amateur event in about a year. I figure that'll be enough time to put some more weight on.

Doccuschanged Weight from 220 lbs. to 222 lbs., a 2 lb. gain in 17 days
I'm really sick of yo-yo'ing. I'm not even talking about a week or so in between weight change.... overnight. Seriously, I have found that if I forget to drink protein before I got to bed I will lose several pounds overnight. Is this normal or am I just freak boy who's body doesn't want to...
Wow, Matthew, thank you for the beautiful compliment. I really appreciate the encouragement and good wishes - and also thank you for taking the time to drop by. I hope you have a good New Years - you made my day
