How I Started:
At 20 years old I was 150pnds ringing wet, had a mate who was comparatively huge and took me under his wing, how things changed.
Why I Love It:
Its a sport you carry with you, i have played high grade representative, rugby, baseball and hockey, but people know you lift weights when you walk down the street,well sometimes anyway.
How I Stay Motivated:
By taking a long hard look at yourself in the mirror, once in a while and asking yourself "Are you happy with that".
Only 11 days to go before comp day. Everything seems to be going fine but could always be better. Still a good 2 kgs heavier than when I was this far out for the last comp, but i am definately a lot leaner. Life is just a blur of routine now, same time same place for everything, dont need...
Hey mate...pretty tired right now and trying to recover. I earned 2nd place in the heavies. It was a fun but as always exhausting contest that was very tough.
thanks ! so far the quality of the competitors looks amazing. I am not sure how many are in each catagory but it did not look like a big weigh in on Saturday. I made my target weight of 96-98 kg. In the past I had a tough time going under 102kg so this time I did a few things different with my training and nutrition to come in much leaner.
yeah yeah I know I have been very slack.. :) Am in comp prep for WNSO World Figure Titles in Toronto in 7 weeks time.. Am stoked with the progress,.. will be updating blog soon. hope all is going well for you

Hi man, nope I have not tried it for other body parts. I think it might work and give you a shock to the system but keep in mind the reason that you can do it with quads is because of the size of the muscle group...doing that type of workout on say , biceps, might quickly lead to overtraining if it is done for too many weeks. What do you think?

Thanks for the comment on the blog. Nice quads too bro, I have a long way to go. I neither look down on the "pros" I mean genetics are involved and if all it took was steroids to compete then there would be many more trying. Keep up the work and I hope 2008 is better than 2007 and 2009 better than 2008.
