When I Started:
Jan, 2008
How I Started:
I started young going to the gym on the air force base. I couldn't really lift because I was like 14 at the time. But I'd play ball. About age 16 I started lifting in school and in free time.
Why I Love It:
There's nothing better than seeing the work you've put in payoff. Tell you like a customer told me...being at the gym is the only time where you can be selfish and not get hounded for it.
How I Stay Motivated:
I look at those who are better than me and I strive to get on their level. A lot of people have slept on my b-ball game and I'm lookin to prove them all wrong. I'm on a mission to raise my game to another level.
BB Accomplishments:
Going from being able to grab rim with one hand to getting it with two easily. I'm trying to get those hops back now...it'll come.

What is the most dangerous weightlifting exercise? Why?
To me...power cleans. Only because you have to be pretty focused to execute a fluid motion, and cleanin heavy weight can have you feelin sore for a few days. Maybe even some back issues.

Have you ever had a lifting injury?
Yes
What type of injury was it? How long were you injured? How did you recover?
I strained my back while doing power cleans. I was feeling it for about a two days. I just rested up and took some ibiprofin. Did the job.

What is the most common reason that somebody gets injured while lifting?
Liftin to much weight or not knowing how to do a lift right. But hey sometimes stuff happens.
Well...I'm getting there. Slowly but surely adding some size and increasing my strength. I've been staying on the perfect push-up and pull-ups and also hittin up the gym on the regular. You can really track your progress w/ the perfect push-ups because the workout are quick, easy, but...
thank you for your help i hope to you a happy life

Hey boss, I saw your BodySpace cause it turns out you were a representative that helped me out. Anyways, if you want to increase that vertical leap you should follow through with a program called Air Alert. If you don't have it, email me and I can send you a copy. I too am a ball player, if you touching the rim with two hands, you'll be slamming in no time with this program. Good luck.
Hey! Thanks for the comment! Yay my goals are going awesome! I have dropped 2% bf and 3 lbs! So definately making progress! How's everything going with you??
Did you watch the Lakers/Celtics game last night? I stopped watching for a little while near the end (when Celtics were blowing them out by 20+ points), but then came back to the TV and saw Lakers only down by 4 points! Crazy. Luckily I have Tivo so I could rewind and find out what happened. Great game!
