How I Started:
I started lifting to improve my performance in High School Football. I was able to gain strength fairly quickly, which led me to joining a local powerlifting team.
Why I Love It:
My job is very stressful and mentally challenging. It's also very sedentary. It's the only thing that I get to do that requires physical exertion during my week day. I look forward to my hour of torturing myself in the morning.
How I Stay Motivated:
The main way is to set a specific goal with a deadline. When you have some form of measure and see objective improvement, there is no better motivator. Also, I constantly change my ipod music, and read general fitness books/magazines as much as possible.
BB Accomplishments:
I held the Mr. Olympia title from 2001 - 2006. And I can deadlift a bus :)
My biggest accomplishment is that I've managed to make it a part of my daily life. I don't like aging. I will continue to fight the good fight.

hey there, thanks for the comment on my blog.. These negative ppl are just making me stronger, from now to competition day.. I'll have to stay away from them for their sake.. (combo of low carbs and low fats) could be dangerous.. LOL
It's going good thanks. I have lost 23lbs in the first 3 weeks so I'm pleased with that. I find uphill cycling and calf raises on the leg press is good for size building if you fancy trying that. good luck.

It looks lie your new Pic has got some New Results there! Great to see. Keep up the hard work! Can definatly see more Lean Mass there. Around the Torso's is also looking good, Looks like you BF is down. Improvments are a show. You Love it! ha'ha

Hows you claves coming along? The way i got mine to finally grow.
split for calves:6 sets 3 xp/w. Seated for thickness and standing for awsome length and shape. It worked for me and a couple of other people i got on it. I think mines hv reached there limit for now. I got GREAT results! Have you ever tried this? If not its a MUST. The way i work it is, Calves with legs Mon, Calves with back wed, and calves with shoulders fri.
Hey bro thanks for the coment, lol, Funny thing is that it is'nt a recent pic and it was taken the same time as the last one, lol, thanks anyway. I have updated a new pic that was taken approx4-5 weeks ago around the 16-23rd july 07, half way through the program, got crook with some kind of flu, not test flu, so lost the pump for new pics. Have more that i want to put on got a few good ones that shows more Muscle.
Thanks for the rep!Great goals. Ive been concentrating on calves also. 3x per week.. had and getting awsome results with them. Noticed within 2 weeks by just training calves 2x p/w then progressed to x3. Its the way forward. Looking in great shape! Great to see someone with the same veiws on lean quality bulky muscle.
looking pretty darn good there these days. I know the feeling about work ... typing and picking up the phone are normally my most strenuous activities, too. :)
