How I Started:
I was 40 lbs. over weight and made a decision to change how I looked.
Why I Love It:
I love going to the gym, busting my butt, and seeing changes to my appearance shortly after.
How I Stay Motivated:
I read Flex, MuscleMag, Reps, etc. to stay motivated and see the possibilities of what perserverance and determination can get you. If others can do it, then so can I.

I just competed in the GNC NPC Max Muscle Naturals and took 3rd place in the middleweight division.

I am in charge of phsical fitness at my command in the Navy. So staying physically fit is very important to me. It has changed my life. Over the next few years I would love to gain another 10 lbs. of quality muscle without having to bulk too drastically.

What chest workout has worked best for you?
Flat dumbbell presses with 8-12 reps.

What bicep workout has worked best for you?
Standing EZ bar curls 8-12 reps. Good form at first then once failure is reached using slight momentum to fully fatigue the biceps.

That's good that San Diego is awesome! I'm actually stationed in Bethesda @ NNMC. I was only in Spain for a few weeks when I was onboard the USS WASP. Where's your next duty station? Hope all is well hun!

well as of right now when i weigh in, it usually says that i gain a pound, i cant really tell much if it is muslce gain or fat gain, i can still see my six pack pretty well if that means anything. my diet might need more calories after viewing your temporary meal plan you sent me.

haha I don't know the size of my arms lol I never cared to measure them because it pisses me off if its not what I want it to be LOL I just lift hard, proper nutrition and supplement and nothing else I can do about it lol I'm never happy how I look lol

well right now i try to take in about 3000 - 3500 calories a day i eat about 5 - 6 meals per day. two of the meals coming from protein shakes. i usually eat clean foods that are highest in carbs and second higest in protein. for my workout i have a 3 day split that is a full body workout. i use supersets. for my cardio all i do is usually warm up on the treadmill for 10 mins before i work out because im leaner.the warm up isnt to intense just mainly to get some blood flowing.

hey again. yes i am def looking for a free online trainer. i am also deffinitly interested in you helping me out, even if it is for a short period of time. i am absolutley 100% commited to changing my physique and i will follow everything you tell me to do. i will take my before pics and will upload them sometime this week. thanks again for helping me out, and hopefully i can be an example on your site and inspire others like you do.
