How I Started:	I've been a personal trainer since 2002, I started competing in 2005 and after winning my first show I was totally hooked on this sport. I currently call Kansas City, MO home. My amazing boyfriend, Micah LaCerte and I opened our own personal training studio the Hitch Fit Gym, in August 2009 and are thrilled to see our business thriving and flourishing in this city that needs a LOT of help in the areas of health and fitness. My passion is to help others achieve their fitness goals, though I love the thrill of competition, nothing beats the feeling of seeing a client change the way that they see themselves and view their life because of a physical transformation. I am a WBFF Pro, the WBFF Figure World Champion 2008, I also won a Fitness Model World Champion in 2008. The WBFF Championships were my most recent competition in September 09 the opportunities that the WBFF has presented me with have been amazing. Transforming my body for competitions has literally transformed my life and I want to encourage others to do the same for themselves! Why I Love It:	I love training and competing because it is a constant challenge. I never tire of seeing how far I can push myself, or seeing what improvements I can make to my physique. It is a constant education too, the more I get involved with the fitness industry, the more I learn and the more I want to learn. I also love to be on stage. I have to say it is such a thrill to me, so much fun to work so hard and then get out there and strut your stuff:)
How I Stay Motivated:	Now that I am the WBFF Figure World Champion I am more motivated than ever! Competing at this level will push me to strive to improve on my physique for each show. Knowing that I have such an opportunity to inspire others to lead a more fit and healthy lifestyle, or to get on stage to compete... knowing that people are watching and looking to me for advice and guidance, knowing that I am being given the opportunity to fulfill my purpose in life which is to help others learn to make healthy choices... well those are the things that keep me going day by day! Being in the best shape I can be in allows me to pursue all the avenues of the fitness industry that I want. Whether that is competing, training others, developing nutrition plans, modeling...you name it. I have found that aside from the fact that I get to live in a fit and healthy body, staying fit and leading this lifestyle just leads to more and more exciting opportunities.
