How I Started:
My highest weight was 252 lbs. over a year ago. I started the gym and working with a trainer in April. Today is 1/24/09;I gained back 18.8lbs during the last part of 2008. it's so easy to do. Just wanted ev1 whose interested in me that me and my family started over on 1/1/09 with a fresh start. we are starting by following WW b/c its easier for my partner and girls. Got sidetracked b/c I found out that I have bladder cancer. I've already had my first surgery and I will be having a major surgery in the future. Hope all is well, because I really need to pic myself up and get on with my life......healthy.
Why I Love It:
The rush! Sometimes it's hard to make yourself get up and workout, but once you get started, the pump you get is amazing.
How I Stay Motivated:
This is the hardest part. But I would have to say, that reading mags and viewing bodybuilding.com keeps me on track.

Goal (Long):
I want to be so fit and sexy that I can't even stand myself! I have always been on the overweight side, and I'm tired of it. Pretty, just isn't enough for me anymore. I want to be the best that I can be. When I make up my mind to do something, there's no stopping me. I DO NOT like to fail. We all do at times, that's how we learn, and that's also how I got to be this unfit too. So, I'm going to pick myself up, and uncase the diamond that I know exists underneath all this fat.

What is the one tip you would give somebody who is just getting started?
DIET IS EVERYTHING!!!!!!! IT CAN MAKE YOU OR BREAK YOU. PERIOD. IT DOESN'T TAKE MUCH TO SCREW UP ALL YOUR HARD WORK! LOOK AT THE FOOD AND BELIEVE, IT'S TRULY NOT WORTH IT. What tricep workout has worked best for you?
Arm extentions are awesome! I am always sore after doing them even with light weights.

What is your favorite cardiovascular exercise? Why?
I like the elliptical because its easy on the knees and you can also get a bit of a upper body workout with the moving handles. I want to get a boxing back and gloves soon b/c boxing and kickboxing gets my heart going and it helps me take out aggression. So I've been trying to back into the swing of things. Healed from my surgery and have walking on the treadmill up to 3 miles a day for the past week. Gotta do it everyday until it sticks!
Candice, you CAN do it...Consistancy is the key, don't let anything detract you from your goal... Training, Diet & Cardio. You WILL achieve your goal.

Hey! Yeah I know. I have been gone for a bit. I not only let myself get derailed, I didn’t dish out the encouragement to my friends. I apologize. I know I don’t have to but I have found that my friends help me stay on track and I hope I do you as well. So please forgive me for abandoning you and fill me in on what you have been up to these last couple of months. How are your workouts? Diet? Motivation? What are you looking forward too? Have your goals changed?
Keep hope alive. I started the champions body for life. It's cool, however, I add my own workouts in as well. Get some sleep and hang in there, it will get easier.
