Background

When I Started: Sep 2007
HOW I STARTED:

I was sick of being over 220 pounds and didnt feel great about myself..I didnt look that bad but....One day I just got up and ran around the block and then i started running everyday and lost weight..Then the weight lifting began, and i felt like i was in high school again lifting like i did for football..Please read my full story in my blog.

WHY I LOVE IT:

The best feeling is the way i fel about myself..I wanted to do this for 8 years and now i did...I love the feeling i get from working out..I workout 5 days a week and i am hooked on it.i am 30 years young and am in the best shape of my life...

i make chicken catetori every monday, i make enough to last me all week and i eat it twice a day and never get sick of it.... it doesnt get healthier then this.... 8 boneless chicken thighs 8 peppers - 4 green 4 red 2 cans stewed tomato's 1 can crushed tomato's good sized package of raw mushrooms fresh green beans as much garlic as you like garlic salt ground clove nutmeg all spice black pepper salt - just a little olive oil Parmesan cheese box of brown rice bake peppers @350 with the olive oil until they are soft. add chicken and cover with olive oil and chopped garlic, cook until chicken is...

 For the past year I have been getting myself back in shape.. The past few month I have been trying to gain weight, never thought that would happen..   I never lost the passion or motivation to hit the weights, but recently I am feeling that “addicting” feeling once again.   I am back to going to bed and looking forward to waking up and hitting the gym.. I have been sleeping in a lot lately and going to the gym later in the day..   Now I am getting to sleep earlier and waking up bright and early to get there.   I am back to lifting 5 days a week and lifting hard.  ...

Number one thing and most important thing you must remember.. IT IS GOING TO TAKE TIME….   You have to devote yourself to it everyday…. Week by week it will get better…. It will get easier… It may get addicting = good thing, in my opinion. Its ok to slip once and a while. Just make sure to grab back on… Have a cheat meal, once a week. Eating right all week, earns you that pizza on Sunday while watching the eagles, Go Birds.. If you are a drinker, DON’T drink…..Simple as that… I gave up going to bars for 4 months…… Worth it… The only thing you should be drinking is water… Do not let anyone...
