i would like to build lean muscle. i want to continue to work out 5 days a week no matter what.
Goal (Long):
alright, summertime is here. by the end of august i would like to weigh 170. and i would also like to start taking the necessary supplements i need to help push me along.
i just got my oxygen abs issue for summer 08. at the back of it they are asking for women to take on what i call an ab challenge starting from when they get the issue if they want. 1st place is $1000, 2nd place is $500, and 3rd is $250. the next 15 get a free 2 year subscription...
every morning before i start my day i lift weights. i do triceps, biceps,ab cruches, ab curles, squats with 8 pound weights, and also lunges with 8 pound weights. i try to jog in the evening at least 3-4 times a week.
Thanks a lot for the comment, we all reach a point in life where we feel change is needed to improve our lifestyle and i am at that point...been through ruff marriages ie. relationships and it is time to soley focus on myself now.
Competing gives you a different set of goals. It's alot of fun but it does take some committment. Knowing you'll be on stage with a bikini is quite the motivator! :)
Thank you! :) I think clean eating, like you said. But I workout my abs about 6 days a week. I always do them at the end of my workout - typically supersetting the 2 Handle Cable Crunch (in my pics) with the Standing Parallel Bars. I do 5 sets and light weight with high reps. Hope this worked! If not, PM me and we can talk more! :)
yeah training consistantly is the key but sometimes so hard to do! its all too easy to get sucked into doing something else. :) keep at it and you will have abs in no time.
Thats awesome to hear! You will get there, just keep up the great work and be consistent with the clean eating. Thats where its going to matter the most.
LOL...I know that right! And those wigs aren't good for your hair. Have you seen this pic of Naomi Campbell. She's had weave for so long, she is going bald. Let that natural luxurious flow girl!!! :)
Aw, you're so cute! I can't say enough it's all diet. I have always had muscle from years & years of training, but until I committed to the diet, I just wasn't where I wanted to be. I have my diet in one of my blogs - let me know if you have any questions - I'm always around, and I'd love to see you reach your goals :)
well you can't really avoid these things for TOO long but dairy and a lot of pasta and bread and simple sugar will FLUFF you up. If you want to see abs...cut back on those things. I take L-carnatine and sprint and dring TONS of water and my abs just pop out. Keep at it ;)
girl i fell off too, but im back. making a change is a real inspiration to me , You are too <smiles>. Ive been eating clean for 1 month. Today is my anniversary, I think Im going to cut down on my fat content right now Im doing the low carb thing.
