I didn't want to suffer from migraines anymore so I read that a person should do weight training along with cardio to be migraine free. IT WORKED! and I haven't had one since 1985. they used to be so bad I would be recovering for 3 days. I was injecting painkillers if I didn't get it fast enough with oral painkillers. not fun with little babies at home.
Why I Love It:
I could write a book. I love feeling electrified muscle. It makes me feel alive and living life in COLOR.
How I Stay Motivated:
I use podcasts and great music plus wanting to be my best the next time I hit the competitive stage.
BB Accomplishments:
Won Overall Female bodybuilder at the 2007 MuscleBeach Classic. (after I had a baby who just turned 2 and sitting in the audience)
My goal is to look my best June 28 at Alberta Provincials with sharp glute-Ham tie-ins.
Goal (Long):
I try to be the best I can be on that stage so I am proud of bringing my A+++ game all the while not losing focus of family and friends. THAT is alot easier than it seems. So far in my last show I have accomplished that but as I continue, I hit more competitive stages and yet I still have to have this balance to be successful.
Your build rocks and you are built like one..its a good thing. Weights help migrains? If i can convince My wife to workout by telling her that for real than It would be a good thing!
That'll do it, lol. Becoming a PT and a Holistic Nutritionist is what finally got my rear in gear and although it's been slow progress for me...I've made some visible changes recently and I'm ready to bring it on!
