Got to my heaviest (183) in June of 2007 and it was pretty much rock bottom for me. Clothes didn't fit and I felt like I had way too much around the mid section. So, started reading about proper diet and exercise/work outs. As of Nov. 2007 I have lost 25 lbs., while gaining some muscle, and have maintained a weight of about 160 - 162lbs.
Why I Love It:
Just the feeling of a good work out is a drug free high for me. Not that I have ever done drugs but you get what I mean. Knowing I have inspired my wife to do the same is also a great high.
How I Stay Motivated:
Knowing my health is improving and I am doing the right thing for not only me but my whole family by leading by example. Also, the fact that my wife is noticing the changes and commenting on them in more ways than one. ;o)
BB Accomplishments:
losing 25 lbs. in 5 months the healthy way and keeping it off. Going down to a 31in. waste from 33/34. Being able to bench my body weight+ for the first time since high school. Also, now that I am keeping track of my progress, I can see I am consistently lifting more.
The fact that I have stuck to weight lifting this long is an accomplishment in itself.

I figured I would comment on something that I feel is becoming more and more ridiculous; Unclassy BodySpace photos. Here is my humorous outlook on this growing epidemic on BodySpace.com.
Now I'm a male who enjoys looking at attractive women as much as the next guy and I feel there is a time...
Make sure you take care of yourself...diet is important in managing/controlling flareups with IBS/IBD. I'm glad you're off creatine....good call :) Good to hear from you!
I am happy to be back :) I left for quite a few months but really missed the motivation and support of my bodyspace friends. How are you? You're lookin' great! Thanks for the 're-add'

Yea planches are definitely a good workout. Works a ton of upper body muscles. Thanks for the comment and you have a great base to work with. Nice physique.
Hey! I was in Ft. Myers (was I close to you?) The weather was awesome everyday and ended in a nice little rain or thunder storm to cool it off. I did notice that there's alot of 'chicken 'n biscuits' down there, lol. Your new avi is awesome. You can really see your v-taper (delts and bis look great, too).
