Fit Status:  Feeling much better about lifting lately. Also, I have stoped creatine for good. Been off it for 7 days now and no issues w/ colitis.

Motivation Level: 8/10

When I Started:
Jun, 2007
How I Started:
Got to my heaviest (183) in June of 2007 and it was pretty much rock bottom for me. Clothes didn't fit and I felt like I had way too much around the mid section. So, started reading about proper diet and exercise/work outs. As of Nov. 2007 I have lost 25 lbs., while gaining some muscle, and have maintained a weight of about 160 - 162lbs.
Why I Love It:
Just the feeling of a good work out is a drug free high for me. Not that I have ever done drugs but you get what I mean. Knowing I have inspired my wife to do the same is also a great high.
How I Stay Motivated:
Knowing my health is improving and I am doing the right thing for not only me but my whole family by leading by example. Also, the fact that my wife is noticing the changes and commenting on them in more ways than one. ;o)
BB Accomplishments:
losing 25 lbs. in 5 months the healthy way and keeping it off. Going down to a 31in. waste from 33/34. Being able to bench my body weight+ for the first time since high school. Also, now that I am keeping track of my progress, I can see I am consistently lifting more. The fact that I have stuck to weight lifting this long is an accomplishment in itself.
