How I Started:
Iron Dawg gym in Athens GA in 1988.
Bally' in Roswell GA between 1990-1998
Stopped when working 3rd shift and then back went out.
Why I Love It:
The feeling you get afterwards with accomplishment and sweat. It's yours and nothing can take it away!
How I Stay Motivated:
I turned 40 and cannot afford a sports car... so, I'm fine tuning my body instead!

Deborah_Lynchanged Weight from 195 lbs. to 192 lbs., a 3 lb. loss in 12 days
Pic from today at home.
Starting weight was 242 back in 8/21/08. Weighed today at 209 at gym. Lost 8 inches off bust and waist.
I endurance train, so weight increase is a lot slower than strength training.
3 sets of 225 for back extension, 3 sets of 30 for inner legs/thighs, butterfly 80 pound ...
I love working out. I forgot how much until I came back to it. I want the best body that I can get for me naturally and be fit and healthy for life.
My Dad is almost 70 and a source of inspiration. He jogged for 30 years and lifted weights the past 10 years. He's super fit and healthy. More spry then people half his age.

How long do you rest between sets on average? Why?
I don't. I endurance train, so I either stretch or move to another machine. Circuit weight training got me hooked years ago on the way t push the body and build up an intense work out. If I rest ( such as between leg press sets) I stop and breathe to control it and then I work on flexing my legs - calves, hams and quads so the limb is still moving an engaged.
My weights are lower, and therefore strength gains are much smaller. But, I feel limber and I still increase weights but at a much slwoer rate. I don't. You are looking awesome! It looks like you've been kicking some major arse. I could see major differences in the shoulder are and arms it looks more toner now. The mid-section looks hard and solid. Overall, you did a great job so keep it going and never give up.
