How I Started:
I always admired athletic physiques & when I was a senior in HS, I struck up a conversation with my friend's brother who was a huge bodybuilder. Soon after, I was working out with him in a dark, smelly hard-core gym where throwing your weights was how you ended the set. I still love to throw my weights, but it's frowned upon at my gym. (lol) Still lifting 24 yrs. later!

How I Stay Motivated:
I have been with my husband for 21 yrs & always want to look sexy for him. Plus I have 2 kids, and I want to show them how important it is to exercise and eat right. But to be honest, I really do workout for myself most of all. It's my 'me' time at the gym - I've been a stay-at-home-mom for 14 years. I am miserable if I don't workout & I feel like a marshmallow!

This is what happened to my tight body after an entire summer of barely getting to the gym because it was 'difficult' with the kids home from school. I ate good food, but too much, dessert if it was there & drank Smirnoff Ice as if it were soda. I got out of shape and bloated. Yuck!
What supplements do you take immediately before your workout? Why?
I mix one scoop of whey protein powder w/ one sccop of NO-Explode.

The usual clean diet. Eat every 2-3 hours, sometimes all lean protein, usually lean protein + low gly. carbs (small portion). Kashi or oatmeal in the AM. A couple shakes a day. I just got back from 3 days at Lake George in NY. My ‘Girls’ and their families all went and we had some quality ‘Girl Time’ for a change. Most of the time was spent chilling on the boats, getting sun and eating our healthy food – I’m not kidding! I enjoyed riding the jet ski...

yea thats very true... I get people in my life who dont understand me going to the gym so regularly, so I can imagine that its bad for women who get nice results from it

NO...but i should be!!! I left a ton of that back in michigan...i will have to get some more. Yes i will be working 7p-7a...ugh and then i have to try and workout before sleep...it will be a struggle but i will do it!!

Huh, then i might go with NO shotgun with redline. I let you know how it turns out, some of my strations are coming back & my abs already, can't wait to post pics after all this. How that ab video coming along, i'd love to watch it.
I'm not sure if I did. I'll let Betty know about your last comment with the clothes. I know when Muscular Development sent me my first shirt is was a 2X, but was a little to big. I do wear it, but It's not how I like them to fit....I'm not a gear head after all...LOL
