How I Started:
All through High School and College I was very active in sports. Through most my 20's I was so focused on my career that I just didn't make the time to work out. I was very out of shape and overweight. A few years ago I turned into a food network junkie and taught myself how to cook. I got so fed up with how I looked that I just decided to get back into the gym after a 12 year hiatus.
Why I Love It:
Working out and eating healthy has become a lifestyle for me. I enjoy pushing my body and seeing what I can do with it. I love the adrenaline rush of the weights and the clear mind I get from the cardio.
How I Stay Motivated:
Thinking of how I used to look in my 20's and all the progress I have made in the last couple of years is a great motivator for me to keep going and keep pushing myself.

On April 05' I weighed 225, 38"waist with 30% bf. I was basically a fat ass. I started working out in the gymn and got down to 165, 30"waist and 10% bf in the course of a year. I lost 60 lbs in one year and was very pleased with my results. In March 07' I injured myself in the weightroom due to an abdominal hernia which consequently derailed my workouts for a few months. After the surgery, I recovered fully from the hernia and have been mass building the last eight weeks. Currently, Im the strongest I have ever been in my life but I need to shred some bf/water weight (about 20lbs.) that I got while gaining the mass. Right now Im focusing more on a lean diet and lots of cardio. We'll see how it goes!
I started doing the spin class a couple of weeks ago and Im kinda diggin it. Anything that makes you sweat your balls off, Im into lately. The techno music is fun to jam out to. I wouln't mind being a spin class DJ. It makes all the difference when the instructors know their music and have...
