After college I joined Texas Bodybuilding Gym in Houston, just to stay in shape. After 4-5 months there Charles Nichols started bugging me about entering a contest. I entered my first show in May 1983 after 7.5 months of serious weight training.
Why I Love It:
I love the challenge of training hard. I love the pump. I love the way it makes me look and how it makes me feel. It keeps me young.
How I Stay Motivated:
Competition is my greatest motivation. Getting e-mails or comments from people who are inspired by my accomplishments is also a huge motivator for me!
