Overall Goal: My goal is to bench over 400 and build my overall whole body strength. I'm an amature strongman and want to give it hell with every contest and every event.
Fit Status:
Ready to give it hell this strongman season!!
Started back in high school when I was wrestling. I stopped for awhile but then picked it back up after I felt my strength leaving me.
Why I Love It:
I love the feeling it gives me. I love the fact that I don't give excuses or cry anyone a river about why I'm not at the gym. Because I am there. It may sound corny but I even love the pain that I get from it. Lastly, I love looking like a superhero in my childrens eyes.
How I Stay Motivated:
Everytime I see a WSM competition it motivates me. Everytime I hear a kick ass song that pumps through my veins, it motivates me. Every single time someone looks at me like I'm too small or weak to compete, it motivates the hell out of me.
BB Accomplishments:
Finishing my first SM competition.
Curling 70lbs
Doing over 1080lbs on the leg press.
Using 100lbs+ on sitting shoulder raises.
My goal is to bench over 400 and build my overall whole body strength. I'm an amature strongman and want to give it hell with every contest and every event.
Goal (Long):
I have a long way to go but I need a better squat max ( 430 now ).
I need a better overhead press max ( 220 now )
Also, need a better deadlift ( 420 now)

It has taught me patience and poise. Bodybuilding has taught me a new level of honesty. Weights don't lie to you. I don't think they're able to and I love them for that. I strive to have that kind of relationship with my kids.It has taught me patience and poise. Bodybuilding has taught me a new level of honesty. Weights don't lie to you. What do you do before your workout to get motivated and energized?
I get the old mp3 player cranking. I run the routine in my head over and over and then see myself making it happen. Then I give it hell!!!
Could I be talking to you? Do you ever have those days in the gym that you feel like you can't be stopped? Like the heavens have opened up and branded you the ultimate bad ass of the gym for that moment in time?
Feels good doesn't it? That feelings addictive. In my opinion just as...
Thank you sooo much for your encouragement. I'm not giving up...I want it tooo bad for that- I allowed my emotions and disappointment to get the better of me. I'm going to do what you said and hit it like my life depends on the end result!
Hey, man! I just got the invite, so thanks! But, uhmm...you know I don't lift any stones, cars, or logs, right? I just move iron, so I'm not sure that I'm qualified to be in the group...
Thanks for asking. I am doing well. Having some health issues that are slowing my training but I am hanging in there. Trying to get ready for spring contests.
