I got started in running and triathlon events. I yo-yo dieted for years after high school. After I had a breast tumor removed in Oct 2006, I decided to get serious about my nutrition and weight management and I hired Rendy Delacruz- trainer at Metroflex Gym in Arlington, TX and I picked a goal of competing for a Figure Show, and have been training ever since. I don't know where I would be without it!
Why I Love It:
It's just a great release for me. I've had a lot of unfortunate events happen in my life and I've had the gym to relieve that stress and pain. By no means am I psycho about training or eating clean - but when I do fall off the track, I feel it. Staying on track with clean eating and training really helps me live a better, stress free life - something I want to have!
How I Stay Motivated:
I would be lying if I didn't say for a woman, there is nothing better then getting that whip-lash look from other male species! It's an amazing feeling! But I'm honest and humble about where I came from and how I got started - and lifestyle wise, I do it for my health and for ME!
I get all my supplements from the vitamin guru dot com!!
Short Term Motivation: To Win Overall a Bikini competition this year.
