NO definition and bloating from my cheat meal--HOT
I cried when I got so big I had to drop my weight...you really DO use your abs for everything!
After a couple of light warm up sets, I move into barbell curls, cable/rope curls, concentration curls and incline dumbell curls. I perform these as a Giant Set and take a good 3-5 minute rest between 3-5 sets. The pump is amazing! I just try to utilize different positions and DB,BB,cable exercises every workout. If I'm not using Giant Sets, I will complete the entire workout and then start from the beginning and do one last LIGHT set to failure of each exercise with little rest. After a couple of light warm up sets, I move into barbell curls, cable/rope curls, concentration curls and incline dumbell curls. Well, after I got past the fact that I can't lift as much because of the baby, I tried modifying my exercises. I actually find that I get totally discouraged as though my progress is stunted. Too much cardio and I feel the vericose veins encroaching like vermin. Too much weight training...
Starting 5 days ago I started a routine that looks like this:
One body part a day on a 3 0n/1 0ff split i.e. Mon. legs, Tue. Back, Wed. Shoulders, Thurs. OFF, Fri. Chest, Sat. Bis, Sun. Tris, Mon. OFF, Tues. Legs etc.
I do 5-7 exercises per bodypart at 7-10 reps while keeping my journal...
ouch contractions sounds painful, i guess slow cardio is the way to go. im Just enjoying the hot weeather here in cali, and also studying for some security licenses. good luck with the competition!
