Fit Status:
I'm tired and sore but still working hard. Bulking is harder than I thought it would be...
I've always been into working out in some form or another. When I had my first 2 kids, I bounced back right away (I was young), then my twins came along.. I wanted to lose the extra weight from having them, I got in the gym, my body responded and I fell in love all over again. I've always been sort of a "tom-boy", I liked doing sports and I'm very competitive so this just comes natural to me.
Why I Love It:
I love seeing the results of my hard work in the mirror. The feeling of acomplishment it gives me is incredible!I also love the compliments I get (being a mother of 4, it's always nice to hear people say "God, you have 4 kids?) The other day I had my daughter with me in the gym, a older gentelman asked her if I was her sister...then proceeded to tell her "wow, she's really strong". No joke! LOVE IT!!
How I Stay Motivated:
Knowing I have a goal to work towards keeps me motivated. Seeing the results in the mirror keeps me motivated, pictures of women I admire all over my house, keeps me motivated! I'm in it to win it!!
BB Accomplishments:
Losing 40 lbs from having my twins. Getting back into a 2 pc bathing suit!!

Goal (Long):
I'm working towards my first NPC Figure show in the fall! I'm a proud mother of 4 which left my body a little battered but I want to show the world that us "moms" can still rock our bodies! My long term goal is to be as healthy as I possibly can, live a long long time and to ROCK my best hard body by my contest date in November.. I want to start sending my pictures into magazines also! Another short term goal of mine is to open my own gym (fitness studio). I want to offer kids classes as well as adult classes. I want to give our young people a chance to learn about nutrition and fitness and give them a chance to rock their lives.
Weight Goal:
I want to GAIN 10 lb

good afternoon D-, after talking to a few guys at the gym i decided to take march and make it my get big month. i am on a 3000 cal. intake with about 250g. of protein, i want to reach 200lbs or so by the end of the month, then cut back to 190lbs and remeasure myself, if i can gain 1/2 to 2 inches everywhere and keep my waist at 32 i will be happy, and yes, LP's were cool. my parents had a vertical turntable is was tight. yellow looks good on you. jeff
my mom and dad now what LP's are as well as 45 and 78. now it's mp3 and ipods and CD's are almost gone too. man, how the world has change, almost like opening doors for ladies too. :} what cha doing today? jeff
hot, hard, other than you and i, know one cares. been thinking of putting it on my profile favorites, my cousin died a while back and his place was the first place i moved to out of my parents house, he had the lp and i totally love the song, and my screen name makes me remember him each and everyday. jeff

Actually I am a member of Xsport. I like Xsport because it's affordable and complete. I only joined DavidBartonGym in addition to Xsport because I need a change of pace every now and then. DavidBarton feels like a dance club! ;)
Bulking is when your diet and training are geared toward adding muscle to your frame and cutting is about reducing the body fat. Training and diet for one or the other are very different
Well, online training isn't for everyone...just depends on your needs. For example, as I prepped for my comps, I worked w/a fellow Bodyspacer for my nutrition needs & he's in Indiana. It can be done but again, it just depends on your goals. Good luck!
Fitness19? Where is that? Are you in the city? I'm about join DavidBartonGym (River North). In fact, I was thinking of signing up tonight! You familiar with that gym? They're waiving the joining fee through tomorrow. $250 savings. I'll take it!
