Was overweight for much of my life, went from doing gymnastics to eating chocolate in front of the t.v 24/7. Swam in the B division of my primary school, was a champion breast stroker haha.
hit High school and was forced into sport, started rugby and became a cardio fit sportsman, the excessive amount of hill sprints we did turned me into a thinner version of myself, the interest in weight lifting was because of seeing my brothers doing it, and especially my middle older brother who went from quite chubby and damn strong to lean and mean ( 5% body-fat! )
that, with his encouragement and my family's i started training, i still cant remember exactly how i got so enthralled by it all.
one version i do know was pretty much the reason why i take this so seriously is the purchase of animal pak and coming across the web-site. through the influential writings of G Diesel,Bull-Dog,Machine etc i changed my mentality and started to be in love with the pain and sacrifice. the idea of putting yourself to a higher level of testing. in all aspects.
from there, starting a journal on bodybuilding.com was the greatest idea. It started rough with being in the negative count twice, but i quickly learned to be positive, not get angry at people and listen to everyone's valid opinions, this gained much more enthusiasm on my part to continue my fore in this sport.
Why I Love It:
I love looking in the mirror and knowing you are making yourself look how you wish it to be, you are constantly setting goals which you eventually meet which make you that more excited and pleased. I love how my girlfriend...uh...yeah well she loves the body, which is a good thing.
it is something everyday that i look forward to, being healthy, loving the feeling of being as such. in terms of being so fat all those years back i never want to go back to that.
How I Stay Motivated:
i stay motivated because i firstly want to win the under 21 South African Championships, im still far off stepping on stage, that is why i have roughly 2 years to give it my all.
I enjoy the commentary i get from people.
BB Accomplishments:

Benching 238lbs ( at 190lbs )
Squatting 286lbs
Dead lifting 374lbs
Barbell rowing 286 lbs ( shit my squat needs to fly up! )

Forum Signature:

Goal (Long):
-Win Teen bodybuilder of the week and aspire others younger and similar to myself, that you can do it with some mental attitude fixing, does not matter if you are a jock or a nerd, you can totally re-vamp your body to look exactly how you want it to look.
-I want to be the winner of the South African under 21 division.
-I want to be known for shape, symmetry and conditioning.
-To be honest i'll do anything to get to my goals, but i still will ensure there is a balance spiritually, mentally, physically, for my heart, family, lover, friends, future, etc.
at home i dont have as much machine choice, but i do have "raw movements" choice, such as deadlifts, barbell rows, military press, squats, all that shit, pull ups, bench press...
my workouts range from high volume to high intensity to heavy weights low reps to moderate weights with higher reps ( 12-15 ) i can train twice in a day if i feel the need or 4 times a week or 7 times flat out. i have no set plan. i hit when i want when i feel it necessary.
thanks man. I'm getting there. Slowly getting strength back, and surprisingly old muscles are starting to take back its old shape despite light weights that feel heavy to me.
How's it going bro? How much is Lipo-6x 240 capsules out there in SA and what store do you get it from? Got a buddy out there that says prices are crazy over there.
