When I was in college, I decided I didn't wanna be a mere 155-pounder with a soon to be noticeable pudge hiding my abs. After 8 years and getting especially serious about working out over the last two years, I've been hard at it.
Why I Love It:
It's great to see your body transform over the months of hard work. Also, the feeling you get after a hard workout is great!
How I Stay Motivated:
After being on a solid regiment for @2 years, when I miss a workout day for whatever reason, that's all the motivation I need to jump back into the gym and do it all over again.
BB Accomplishments:
After being an out-of-shape stick all the way up 'til freshmen year of college, I've gained over 25 pounds of muscle over the last several years. Also, as of late, I'm cutting some of the excess fat.

Right now (April, 2008), I'm lifting four times a week with two days of cardio on my "rest" days. As I'm naturally an ectomorph like crazy, it's rough to keep the muscle I've gained and keep the fat off 'cause I'm not 12 anymore with the ability to eat anything I want and not add to the "spare tire".
I have your typical lifting split and switch up my cardio between jump roping and interval training on the treadmill. I started a low-carb diet in January of this year, so my hopes are to get some midsection definition, gain about 5-10lbs. of muscle, and look good for the summer!
Why I like this video: Rich "Ace" Franklin is a well-conditioned mixed martial artist and the best middleweight fighter in the world (next, of course, to Anderson "Spider" Silva).
He's the best because he trains like the best! This is my motivation to work out hard!

Why I like this video: Shogun drastically improved his cardio from his last fight against Mark "The Hammer" Coleman. Watching him train so hard and seeing the results of his training (a first-round TKO of former UFC Light-Heavyweight champ Chuck Liddell) motivate me to no end!
