9 RULES to INSURE LENTEN SUCCESS
Rule #1- Daily Devotional for Lent!!Rule #2-No cokes, candy, chips, ice cream -NO SUGAR!! Rule #3-No eating in the living room!! Do not eat in living room!! Rule #4-No grains (bread,crackers, tortilla,cereal)... Rule #5-No pasta (rice,noodles, etc)... Sacrifice for LENT, because you want to lose 10lbs on way to 195lbs plus No Alcohol (No Beer, No Wine & No mixed Drinks)... Rule #6-No fried foods (flour,breading)... Rule #7-Eat a fistful of carbs & protein. Portion control is a key... WHEN YOU EAT IT IS NO BIGGER THAN A FIST!! Rule #8-Pray-morning, noon & night!! Rule #9-Drink a glass of water & eat an orange when you eat at the table... Slowdown & take your time eating-

Eric Holmquist's TRANSFORMATION said he started by cutting-out potatoes, sugar, grains of any kind & rice- this means no pasta. Bodyweight workout pushups, pull ups & dips.
Simple enough to get started with, now it is a work in progress. I will continue to get stronger; afterall, I have no plans of going anywhere unless the good Lord calls. I enjoy my clothes fitting and/or being loose!
Brent Jones has also been an inspiration. I have enjoyed reading his body blog and followed some of his diet ideas, especially his fasting methods. There are countless friends or others that I follow on the bodybuilding.com site.
