My fiance is a bodybuilder and been involved in the fitness industry for YEARS. After meeting him, I was in and out of the gym for ages (just playing games really). Coming from a dance background it took me AGES to be convinced that weight training would NOT RESULT in a woman MORPHING into a man!!!! With much patience, inspiration and guidance (but NO PRESSURE) from my man, I only really started taking it SERIOUSLY since the beginning of this year. Started loving weights & the new lifestyle - not to mention the results. Made some awesome gains and then POOF..... became a lazy blob, eating everything in sight for 3 - 4 months (no excuses other than pure laziness) BUT..... Now: BELLE IS BACK - for REAL! Watch this space!
Why I Love It:
I train purely for MYSELF! Love seeing the changes in my body and nothing feels more empowering (especially for a petite chick) than lifting some REAL weights.
How I Stay Motivated:
Hmmmm....... still working on that one but as I said "Watch this space" My fiance (who is also my training partner) is a HUGE (literally) inspiration on my "down days" though and this site also helps loads.

You're no "Dumb-Bell" (hahahha) - I think you're absolutely beautiful. But since you do lift "dumb-bells" you must have strong muscles. Hope to see a "flex" pic some day. Meantime keep up the good "workout" and more power to you!!!! - Bruce
I know exactly how you feel from last september{my last comp} till march i just ate **** and drank too much but it makes you feel even worse.
But its hard to get yourself to get off your ass and get down the gym even though you know you need to.
Been back trainin a couple of months now and i do feel better i hope you do too!! Cheers Stef.
I meant to respond to you forever ago. :) I didn't think I contributed THAT much to you but thanks for the kind words. How is everything going? Any big news with the transformation? I think I referred you to the Goal Sheet thread- did you check it out? Whatchu think?
