Golds Gym, 24 hr fitness, the pulse, anytime fitne
Gym Location:
CO
When I Started:
Feb, 2004
How I Started:
I raced motocross and needed to put on some muscle to help my riding. A buddy of mine lifted a lot and started to get interested in bodybuilding. The more I hung out with him, the more I began to follow in his footsteps. Now my focus is completely on bodybuilding.
Why I Love It:
Bodybuilding/working out is the best thing Ive ever found. If you have a bad day, go do squats till you puke. Some might find that weird but it makes me feel a hell of a lot better. It keeps me focused and happy. You can never be perfect and there is always room for improvement.
How I Stay Motivated:
BB Accomplishments:
-3rd place at the 2006 Axis Labs Natural Colorado.
-2nd place novice 2008 Southern CO Natural
-4th place open light heavy Southern CO Natural

What type of injury was it? How long were you injured? How did you recover?
Torn right shoulder from bench pressing and I've thrown my back a couple of times. I was out from almost all upper body training for about 4 months after the shoulder and the back only lasts a few days but I just have to be careful with it.Torn right shoulder from bench pressing and I've thrown my back a couple of times. What is the most common reason that somebody gets injured while lifting?
bad form and lifting way to heavy. This is bodybuilding not powerlifting. Train for your physique, not to impress the girl next to you.

What is the most dangerous weightlifting exercise? Why?
Probably deadlifts, If you don't know what you are doing you can seriously hurt yourself.

Great showing Devon in the show. Serious Congrats. You deserve it. Have a feeling that 1st place will be damned soon. You gonna try to show again this year?
I remember being at the Colorado Natural 2006 show and watching you compete! You were one of the guys that inspired me to get on that stage the following year!! Glad you didnt compete in 2007...I would have been in serious trouble!! good luck on your show!!
Pretty good. Making slow gains mass wise. Having my skin removal surg in early June, and I'll have to take 6 weeks off after that. So, I'm getting in everything I can before then.
