I raced motocross and needed to put on some muscle to help my riding. A buddy of mine lifted a lot and started to get interested in bodybuilding. The more I hung out with him, the more I began to follow in his footsteps. Now my focus is completely on bodybuilding.
Why I Love It:
Bodybuilding/working out is the best thing Ive ever found. If you have a bad day, go do squats till you puke. Some might find that weird but it makes me feel a hell of a lot better. It keeps me focused and happy. You can never be perfect and there is always room for improvement.
How I Stay Motivated:
BB Accomplishments:
-3rd place at the 2006 Axis Labs Natural Colorado.
-2nd place novice 2008 Southern CO Natural
-4th place open light heavy Southern CO Natural
Being a sponsored team member of Infinite Sports USA. Check out my athlete page with link under "my website"!!

What type of injury was it? How long were you injured? How did you recover?
Torn right shoulder from bench pressing and I've thrown my back a couple of times. I was out from almost all upper body training for about 4 months after the shoulder and the back only lasts a few days but I just have to be careful with it.Torn right shoulder from bench pressing and I've thrown my back a couple of times. What is the most common reason that somebody gets injured while lifting?
bad form and lifting way to heavy. This is bodybuilding not powerlifting. Train for your physique, not to impress the girl next to you.

What is the most dangerous weightlifting exercise? Why?
Probably deadlifts, If you don't know what you are doing you can seriously hurt yourself.
Alright so im 15 days out from the Southern CO Natural, cant wait!! I'm currently in a dillema on how to organize my final week prep. I have many people telling me to go with the darastic carb/ water depletion using diuretics, sodium depletion etc.. But ive been researching a lot, reading...
That is so cool that a high school has bb competitions!
My favorite class is the teen class b/c if teens could have that kind of dicipline, it wipes out all excuses for us mature adults :)
Since I'm not dieting, I'm doing great! Hahaha!
I am part of Jeff Taylor's crew and I remember you! You were the guy who smiled on stage instead of looking like he's about to die.
Keep up the hard work!
