How I Started:
Towards the end of junior high a group of us would head over to the high school after school to lift at the football stadium with the high school athletes and coaches and I decided to tag along with them one day and fell in love with lifting.
Why I Love It:
Working out is my passion for living!
How I Stay Motivated:
What keeps me motivated is the self image I have of myself. I visualize the way I want to look in my head. Whenever I'm working out at the gym I visualize that image in my head and it helps keep me focused and hungry while working out.
BB Accomplishments:
I don't have any major bodybuilding accomplisments, but I've better educated myself over the past few years about bodybuilding and proper nutrition due to all the articles, helpful BB.com members, and forums found on this site.

Looking to shed some midsection body fat and strengthen my core.
Goal (Long):
On 1/1/09 I weighed 256 lbs and lost 14 lbs by cleaning up my diet before starting the Dave Palumbo keto diet. On Dave Palumbo's keto diet I lost an addition 8 lbs. On 2/15/09 I switched to the velocity diet and ran it for 6 weeks before finishing on 3/27. I ended up losing another 22 lbs on the velocity diet.
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 12 lb
Bodyfat Goal:
8%

I've been eating tons of raw foods (fruit and vegetables) and protein. So, I was doing a high carb, low fat. Today, I start back on the Palumbo diet Instead of using Somalyze I will be using John Scott's night time fat burner. I need to google the velocity diet. I have gained some water weight in my midsection--hopefully that will go away in about a week. Tameka

The rash on my face has healed, but the rash across my back is still healing. I stopped the Palumbo diet for a short time so that my body can heal quicker--being on a diet like that is havoc on the body and immune system.

We don't see too much of that down here..lol. I've only seen snow twice in my life. I've got a bday thing to go to tonight and a 10 mile hike on Sunday. I'm looking forward to it. :)

I don't like the pills as much. I take the full 2 scoops but I think I have a high tolerance. I gave some to a couple of guys I workout with and one of them said that it was waaay to much. I think he felt all cracked-out or something..lol.

I'm freaking out!!! Apparently, I'm allergic to the Usinic acid in Dave's Somalyze. I have this big rash covering my face and back. It started a few days after taking the Somalyze. Initially, I thought it was all the nuts I was eating, but it is the Usinic acid!! WTF!!!!

I didn't enjoy my carb up at all. I carbed up on junk food and it made me so sick. Next time I will carb up on fruit or oatmeal.
