How I Started:
I started lifting at about age 13 because I wanted to be bigger. I kind of fooled around with weights for a couple years but didn't really know what i was doing till high school now i'm hooked.
Why I Love It:
It makes you feel good and feel good about yourself... i love working to lift that extra five pounds or that extra rep or 2 every week. I love the sense of accomplishment and achievement that goes along with it.
How I Stay Motivated:
knowing that if i stay disciplined and work hard i can achieve my goals

DJ_Tannerchanged Weight from 163 lbs. to 155 lbs., a 8 lb. loss in 205 days
well, it's day 10 of what i'm goin to assume was a flu or just a really intense cold i don't know. Either way it had me pretty much knocked out there for a few days. But now i think i'm pretty much good to go again and will hit the weights and punish the body again come monday morning.
1st experience was a year of judo at a boys school I atended at 12 and than 2 weeks at a summer camp at about 13. More judo senior year of highschool. Kenpo karate starting in the spring of my first year of college and have done that ever since..with a little experience to Tang so do, escrema, SCA stick fighting, and trying to teach myself a little Tiger claw.
WILL is more important than money..lots that you can learn from many sorces if you keep your ears and eyes open...motivation can be the killer sometimes..sort of haveing that problem myself.
