When I Started:
2003
How I Started:
Well, born in Vancouver, BC, Canada, I started ice skating and playing hockey at age 4. I grew up on travel hockey and soccer teams, which always kept me fit. Around age 13 or 14, I got an ab roller and a bench press for Christmas. Soon I developed a decent 6 pack and a ripped chest, and I liked the way I looked. By 16 I was cut and stayed lean but muscular for years, with never much serious consistant training. Then around age 21, I got my first gym membership and dove into the bodybuilding world. I went from about 140 to 180 over a year or so, and was much bigger, but not really cut. I trained very hard with weights, but rarely any cardio. My hockey games were always my cardio. Then I quit working out for almost all of 2008; I was going through some rough times. Got real skinny and dissapointed with myself. Then in December, I started hitting it again, but decided to learn from all the mistakes I made the first time around. Now, I eat healthy, train just as hard, AND do cardio 4 or 5 days a week. Doin' it right this time around; besides being healthy, I want to be muscular and ripped, not just big and swole.
Why I Love It:
The gym is my release. My time to focus on myself amidst a hectic life. Best part- keeps me out of trouble, which I have had enough of. Keeps me disciplined, occupied, and healthy. Keeps me feeling great, both physically and mentally. Plus, it's hard to not feel good about yourself when you see your body changing for the better day to day. Great way of life.
How I Stay Motivated:
Mirrors and Women. I'm kind of a perfectionist, so I always see areas to improve when looking in the mirror. And of course, I want to look my best for my girlfriend.
BB Accomplishments:
looking good, feeling great

Okay so this is my new training split. Gonna do legs twice a week, because I have previously slacked in that department and I want a balanced physique.

DAY 2: Chest, tris, CARDIO
DAY 3: Back, bis, ABS
DAY 4: OFF (possible lite CARDIO & ABS)
DAY 5: ...
my day was good. slept in and got in a good workout. decided to do it on an empty stomach. Was pretty hungry when I was done. Got to relax the whole day. Sad to see the weekend go. No boy got me flowers today. Oh well!
thanks so much for your compliments and the add...so many people are telling me i should change my name lol...things are fine with me, just got in from jogging...how are things with you ?
Hi there :) Yes, I'm really excited! One of the reasons I was waiting until December was because I wanted to loose a certain amount of weight by then...kinda give me something to look forward to once I had accomplished that...and I barely have a pound left to loose, so I'm doubly excited LOL Well how have you been lately???
Yeah, sounds like today sucks for you but you will definitely make up for it tomorrow! I'm getting ready for part 2 of my workout shortly. :) Try to enjoy the rest of your day!
That's really nice...I admire that :) I'm gonna get something similar done down the side of my hip in December...can't wait! It's a good way to never forget about something you don't wanna go back to :)
