How I Started:
Decided it was now or never. Was getting very overweight and decided that I didn't want to have health problems early in life. I stepped on the scale one day and saw 299 lbs!!! I decided right then and there that I was never going to see 300. The truth is that it is entirely possible that I was above 300 at one point, but just didn't step on a scale when I was. Either way, I wasn't going to let myself see that number.
Why I Love It:
I saw some pretty amazing results quickly and it has just gone from there. It has made me more confidant in my physical appearance, as well as confidence to be able to set and achieve goals.
How I Stay Motivated:
I made it an inseparable part of my life. I plan on a career in a demanding field and I know staying physically fit with keep my on the top of my game. Another way I stay motivated is keep a picture around from when I was nearly 300 lbs. If that wouldn't keep you motivated to not let yourself go, I don't know what would.
BB Accomplishments:
Topped out at a soft 299 lbs in 2004. Have lost approximately 100 lbs of pure fat and gained a sizable amount of lean muscle. I honestly thought that the lowest I could possibly get to would be 250. As of right now (Oct, 2009), I am 211 and still dropping. Went from a size 46 waist, to a size 32.

I took a couple of weeks off as well... but I'm really happy with the way my body is right now! I'm just working towards more toning in my arms and legs. But the goal is definitely see-able which is nice :)
